Salvation Experience: When I was seven years old I had a conversation with my mom that clarified what it meant to be saved. I had developed the idea in my young mind that baptism was necessary for me to be saved but my mom helped me understand that baptism was something I could do later out of obedience. I remember that day coming to the understanding that the story I had heard all of my short life was about me. Jesus wasn’t just the Savior who died for the sins of the world, He was my Savior who died for my sins. I wondered as a young teenager if I really understood salvation when I was so young but God overcame my doubt and confirmed many times that He had claimed my life for His kingdom. Looking back, I can see how, even at seven years old, God was at work and preparing me for His purposes. His grace has become more precious to me each day since then as I become more aware of the depths of my own depravity and the riches of His mercy.

Work/Ministry Experiences: I worked blue collar jobs through high school and college. 6+ years in the metal recycling industry as a Buyer/Account Management. I am currently the Divisional Sales Manager for a steel service center/distributor.

Favorite Things about Life Church: The people. Working in the sound booth with Gary and my wife. Commitment to teaching God’s Word​

Family Members: Wife – Tiffany, married in 2010, Daughter – Eleanor, born in July 2015

Hobbies: I have been a die hard Braves fan since my family moved to Georgia in the early 90s.
Exercise has been a part of my life for 20 years, I enjoy running obstacle races and recently ran my first half-marathon. I love to shoot pistols and rifles but don’t get to as often as I would like.

Secret Ambition: In the real world, I’d like to go to law school and/or work in politics.
In my dreams, I own my own restaurant that centers around things “brewed” and “baked”… if only I had a good name for it.
